Ameya has over 20 years of professional experience and specializes in direct tax, international tax and business & transaction advisory.

During 2003-2010, Ameya worked with leading international consulting firms – Ernst & Young and PwC.He advised Indian and international MNCs on domestic and international tax. He also worked on business restructuring and M&A related advisory.

Setting on an entrepreneurial journey, Ameya co-founded Taxsutra – a leading b2b tax news and information portal in India in 2010 and worked as Executive Editor until January 2019. At Taxsutra, Ameya played different roles in the business growth – with focus on editorial and technical areas along with technology and business-related functions.

Since January 2019, Ameya has started independent consulting in tax, restructuring and business advisory. He has set-up a boutique consulting firm Globeview Advisors LLP.

Ameya is a speaker at Indian and global forums on international tax. Ameya has also conducted several training sessions for professionals and students.

Ameya has been a member of the committees set up by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, The Chamber of Tax Consultants.

Ameya is a visiting faculty at ILS Law College Pune on taxation and has worked on the Board of Studies of Symbiosis College of Commerce, Pune.

Ameya Kunte is a qualified chartered accountant and Graduate in Commerce from the University of Pune. Ameya Kunte has secured 7th all India rank in the ICAI Final examination and 2nd Rank in the University of Pune in the Commerce Graduation Examination.  He also secured the first rank in the HSC examination in the Pune Divison and second rank in the State of Maharashtra.
